eLearnExpo Awards -  contest for the best distance learning system (DLS) implementations  

Within eLearnExpo a contest will be held for the best DLS implementations in the following categories:

• Best e-Learning solution in schools, colleges, technical schools and intermediate vocational education
• Best e-Learning solution in higher education institutions and training centres
• Best e-Learning solution in state and government institutions
• Best e-Learning solution in the corporate sector
• Special category “For the social significance of an eLearning project”

(support and development of eLearningsocial values: expansion of the ‘geography’ andattraction of the non-traditional contingent (eg., residents of small towns and villages), the development of lifelong learning - educational programmes for large numbers of employed adults, the unemployed, prisoners, etc.)

Those wishing to take part in the contest should email a completed application form (form 1 or 2) and exhibitor form to the organisers - elearn@ite-expo.ru.All the information submitted to the contest must be confirmed by an official letter from the organisation signed by an authorised person (for higher education institutions, the signature of the chancellor or vice-chancellor for academic affairs).      

Best implementation of e-Learning in higher education institutions and training centres

The category accepts written descriptions of e-Learning projects in educational institutions to support classroom or distance learning.  Educational institutions can participate in the category independently or with a developer or consultant.  To participate in the competition, it is necessary to provide a written description of the project on the attached template.  In evaluating the category, the judges will only use information from this description.  Personal meetings and discussions during the evaluation are not used.

Best e-Learning implementation in a company  

The category accepts written descriptions of projects, in the implementation of which objectives have been achieved, such as learning and the implementation of modern educational technologies.  The category is open to companies in which such a project has been implemented.      Developers of solutions can participate in the category with their client only.  To participate in the competition, it is necessary to provide a written description of the project on the attached template.  In evaluating the category, the judges will only use information from this description.  Personal meetings and discussions during the evaluation are not used.
